Josh Reed is an artist from Glendive, Montana, now based in Dickinson, North Dakota, with his wife, Austyn, and their two daughters, Raeleigh and Ayla. Reed’s work spans various mediums, including oil paint, watercolor, and ink, creating landscapes and abstract pieces that reflect his connection to nature and his pursuit of capturing emotion and movement.

As his artistry evolves, Reed continually pushes creative boundaries, offering fresh perspectives through his landscapes and introspective abstract works. Beyond his personal art, Reed is the Creative Director at Vizion Signs, where he leads visual branding strategies for diverse clients, blending his artistic vision with practical design. He also serves as an adjunct graphic design professor at Dickinson State University, inspiring the next generation of designers.

When not creating or teaching, Reed focuses on making his family laugh and staying active. A former competitive athlete, he still enjoys pushing his limits in the gym and on the track. Reed’s competitive spirit, honed through his time on Dickinson State’s track and field team, infuses his approach to both art and life, driving him to excel and inspire others.
